Saudi Media Forum Strengthens Global Presence At MIPCOM In Cannes With New Initiatives

The Saudi Media Forum is currently participating in MIPCOM, a major event for television production and creative content, taking place in Cannes, France. This marks the forum's second consecutive year at MIPCOM, aiming to enhance its international presence and foster global media partnerships.

Chairman of the Saudi Media Forum and CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, Mohammed Al-Harthi, stated that the forum has gained a significant international standing. He attributed this to high-quality content integration, diverse participation, and an expanding network of strategic partnerships. "The forum’s global reach strengthens Saudi Arabia’s role on the world’s media map," he said.

The forum plans to announce several new initiatives during its fifth edition from February 2 to 4, 2026, in Riyadh. An updated version of the FOMEX exhibition will be showcased by the forum. FOMEX is one of the largest media technology exhibitions in the region. This exhibition aims to highlight advancements in media technology and attract international attention.

Al-Harthi highlighted that Saudi Arabia's rapid progress across various sectors, especially digital media, has made it an appealing environment for content creation. The Kingdom serves as a strategic launchpad for initiatives with both local and global impact.
