Saudi Media Forum Day One: Ministers And Global Influencers Participate In Engaging Panels And Workshops
The Saudi Media Forum began with a significant turnout, attracting royals, ministers, and top executives from major media firms. Influencers and experts from across the globe also participated. The event kicked off with a speech by Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossary. This was followed by a session led by Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
British former Prime Minister Boris Johnson took part in a session discussing how media has shaped his political image. The forum featured 35 panel discussions and 11 workshops, drawing speakers and experts from Saudi Arabia and beyond. These sessions provided insights into various aspects of the media landscape.

The Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX) was launched on the first day as a key event alongside the forum. It showcased over 250 companies from local, regional, and international markets. These companies displayed cutting-edge technologies and solutions in media, production, and digital broadcasting.
Throughout the forum, at least six agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed. These aimed to boost collaboration between public and private sectors. The agreements focus on developing digital infrastructure, launching new products for broadcasting, enhancing digital content, and supporting tourism, culture, and media production aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
Several interactive workshops were held to focus on media innovation and digital content creation. They aimed to keep pace with the latest technologies and trends while enhancing the skills of media professionals. These workshops were designed to foster creativity and adaptability in an ever-evolving industry.
The Saudi Media Forum is taking place in Riyadh from February 19 to 20. It serves as a crucial platform for leaders in the media industry, experts, and researchers to engage in meaningful discussions. The forum facilitates dialogue on important topics affecting the global media landscape.
This gathering highlights Saudi Arabia's commitment to advancing its media sector through collaboration and innovation. By bringing together diverse voices from around the world, the forum aims to drive progress in line with national goals such as Vision 2030.
