The third annual Saudi Media Forum, a pivotal event in the media industry, recently concluded in Riyadh. This forum, organized by the Saudi Journalists Association in collaboration with the Radio and Television Corporation, spanned three days and was a significant gathering for media professionals from both within Saudi Arabia and abroad.
Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari graced the event, which saw a large turnout of participants engaging in various aspects of media and communication. The forum's closing ceremony was a highlight, where awards were presented across multiple categories including interviews, reports, newspaper columns, visual production of short films, visual programs, podcasts, digital media, digital arts, entrepreneurship projects, social media platforms, creativity, and innovation.

Under the theme "Media in a World Taking Shape," the forum hosted over 60 panel sessions and specialized workshops. These sessions were moderated by approximately 150 speakers comprising ministers, officials, experts, specialists, and analysts. They delved into the latest developments across the international media spectrum—print, visual, audio, and digital—and examined prominent local and international media experiences.
The Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX), held alongside the forum, stood out as the largest specialized media exhibition in the Middle East. It attracted participation from over 200 local and international companies. These entities showcased their latest technologies and innovations, marking a significant moment for the media industry in the region.
The Saudi Media Forum has once again proven to be an essential platform for discussing advancements and trends in the media sector. It facilitates a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities present in today's rapidly evolving media landscape.
