Saudi Media Forum 2026 Names Jockey Club Of Saudi Arabia As Excellence Partner
The Saudi Media Forum has named the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia as Excellence Partner for its fifth edition, scheduled from February 2 to 4. The partnership links one of the Kingdom’s key media gatherings with the organiser of the Saudi Cup, adding further profile to both events.
The agreement aligns two major platforms that draw international participants to Riyadh. The Saudi Media Forum brings together media professionals and decision-makers, while the Saudi Cup attracts elite global competitors in horse racing. Both events highlight Saudi Arabia’s ambition to strengthen its cultural and sports sectors.

The Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia, founded in 1965, serves as the official regulator for horse racing in the Kingdom. The club manages racing at King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh and King Khalid Racecourse in Taif, supporting Saudi Arabia’s standing in the international equestrian industry.
The Saudi Cup, staged at King Abdulaziz Racecourse on February 13 and 14, is regarded as one of the world’s leading horse racing events. The main race offers a purse of $20 million, while the overall prize pool reaches $39.6 million, drawing top horses, jockeys, and owners from several countries.
The Saudi Media Forum’s 2026 edition, held under the theme "Media in a Shaping World," will feature more than 150 sessions and over 300 speakers. The forum has developed into a central annual meeting point for regional and international media dialogue, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s evolving media environment.
The Saudi Cup combines elite sport with cultural and entertainment activities, supporting Saudi Vision 2030 goals. The event promotes tourism, helps expand major international events hosted in the Kingdom, and enhances Saudi Arabia’s presence in global sports, while reinforcing Riyadh’s role as a destination for high-profile competitions.
