Saudi Media Forum 2024: Merging Creativity And Technology For Sustainable Media Development
The Saudi Media Forum is set to launch its fourth edition on February 19, alongside the Future of Media Exhibition. This event aims to merge creativity with technology, fostering media partnerships for sustainable development. It will also feature the Saudi Media Forum Award, which seeks to enhance content quality, encourage competition, and recognise outstanding achievements in the media sector.
Since its inception in 2019, the Saudi Media Forum has become a significant annual event for media professionals and enthusiasts both within Saudi Arabia and internationally. Over the years, it has attracted more than 4,500 media professionals from around the world. The forum provides a platform for exchanging ideas and perspectives that contribute to the growth of the media industry.

The first edition of this forum was themed "Media Industry: Opportunities and Challenges." It featured participation from executives, officials, and heads of various media institutions globally. More than 1,000 media professionals attended over 50 academic sessions, meetings, and workshops during this inaugural event.
The second edition took place under the theme "Media in a World Taking Shape." It included 60 sessions and workshops where over 100 research papers were presented. These papers covered topics related to media content development and industry trends. The event gathered experts, specialists, academics, ministers, and officials from around the world.
In its third edition held on February 20-21, 2024, the forum continued with the same theme as its predecessor. Around 2,000 media professionals from Saudi Arabia and abroad participated. This edition featured 60 specialised sessions delivered by approximately 150 speakers including ministers and experts discussing developments across visual, audio, print, and digital formats.
