Saudi Media Academy Launches Media Leaders Program In Switzerland
The Saudi Media Academy has initiated the first phase of its Media Leaders Track in Switzerland. This intensive training programme focuses on global event management. It is conducted in partnership with EHL Hospitality Business School, recognised as the leading university for hospitality management by QS World University Rankings.
The programme's launch included signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the academy and EHL. Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Maghlouth, Assistant Minister of Media and the academy’s board chairman, attended this event alongside other officials. The agreement seeks to enhance international collaboration and facilitate cultural and knowledge exchange with top global academic institutions.

Spanning five days, the training camp offers hands-on experience through workshops led by international experts. Participants also visit world-class event institutions. The focus is on developing skills in planning, organising, and executing major events, along with team leadership and audience engagement strategies.
This initiative is part of a four-stage training track. Following this phase, participants will engage in a specialised digital advertising course in Riyadh. Subsequent stages include an international media camp in Singapore and an advanced course in leadership communication strategies.
The programme targets professionals and creatives from various sectors. Its aim is to improve effective media presence, enhance national media event management, and strengthen Saudi Arabia’s representation at global forums. These objectives align with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Khalid Zain Al-Abdeen, Academy Chief Executive, signed the MoU alongside Stéphane Haddad, EHL Associate Dean of Executive Education Programs. This collaboration supports the ministry’s vision to empower national talent within the media sector.
