Saudi Media Academy Marks Milestone With Graduation Of First Electronic Programs Cohort

The Saudi Media Academy recently celebrated the graduation of its first cohort from the electronic programs track. The event took place at the Visitor Center in Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City, also known as Misk City. Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Maghlooth, Assistant Minister of Media and Chairman of the Board, along with board members, attended the ceremony.

Dr. Al-Maghlooth highlighted the support from Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary, which aims to enhance training program outcomes and develop human resources for advancing media in Saudi Arabia. He praised the academy's achievements, stating: "Today, we celebrate the success of the nation's youth, who represent a group of contributors to the future of Saudi media. This first cohort of electronic program graduates marks a step toward empowering national staff to face the challenges of modern media and shape a more innovative future."

First Cohort Graduates from Saudi Media Academy

The ceremony also introduced an inaugural in-person training program under the global programs track. This initiative is in collaboration with renowned international universities and institutions. It aims to develop leadership and technical skills for media professionals, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 aspirations.

Academy CEO Eng. Khalid Zain Al-Abideen expressed gratitude towards Al-Dossary and Al-Maghlooth for their unwavering support. This backing has enabled the academy to offer high-quality programs that contribute to building a dynamic media sector that aligns with global transformations.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the academy and the General Authority of Media Regulation. This agreement focuses on qualifying individuals in the media sector, developing joint training programs, consultancy services, and exchanging information to improve sector regulation.

Additionally, a strategic cooperation agreement was established with Mantiq Al-Najah Consulting Company. This partnership aims to support training and qualification in Saudi Arabia's sports media sector by designing specialized programs and leveraging artificial intelligence technologies.

The event concluded with commemorative photos featuring Dr. Al-Maghlooth alongside graduates and academy team members. These moments captured the significance of this milestone for both individuals and the institution.
