Saudi Relief For Gaza: Leadership Directs Intensified Air, Sea, And Land Aid Campaigns

Saudi Arabia has ordered a major increase in humanitarian aid for civilians in the Gaza Strip, using air, sea, and land routes. The directive comes from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The instructions are being carried out through the Saudi Campaign to Support the Palestinian People, led operationally by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). The expanded relief programme focuses on food, medical assistance, and shelter supplies for people affected by the conflict.

Saudi leadership expands Gaza relief efforts

KSrelief reports that an integrated air and sea bridge is already operating to support Palestinians. So far, 77 aircraft and eight ships have transported more than 7,600 tons of relief materials. These shipments include food baskets, medical supplies, and essential shelter items.

Alongside air and sea operations, 912 Saudi relief trucks have reached the Gaza Strip. These trucks carried food assistance, shelter materials, medical items, and equipment. KSrelief also delivered 20 ambulances to the Palestine Red Crescent Society to support health and emergency services.

International partnerships and Saudi humanitarian aid to Gaza projects

The centre has signed several agreements with international organisations to expand work inside the Gaza Strip. These projects are valued at $90.35 million. KSrelief has also taken part in joint airdrop missions with Jordan to deliver assistance when border crossings were closed.

In comments reported by the Saudi Press Agency, KSrelief Supervisor General Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah stated that the leadership’s directive continues the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian role in Gaza through the Saudi campaign and confirms long-term support for Palestinians during crises.

Al Rabeeah said this support shows that Palestine remains central in the hearts of the Kingdom, its leadership, and its people. Al Rabeeah also expressed appreciation to King Salman and the Crown Prince, describing Saudi giving as a deep value and a consistent national practice in all conditions.

The latest measures strengthen Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian engagement in Gaza through KSrelief and the Saudi Campaign to Support the Palestinian People. Aid deliveries by air, sea, and land, together with coordinated projects and airdrops, underline a sustained effort to meet urgent Palestinian needs.
