New Saudi-Kosovo Business Council To Strengthen Economic Ties
The Saudi-Kosovan Business Meeting, held in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, has marked a significant milestone in the economic relations between Saudi Arabia and Kosovo. This event, which took place on Thursday, saw the participation of over 400 government officials and business representatives from both countries, highlighting the keen interest in fostering stronger bilateral trade and investment ties.
At the heart of this meeting was the signing of an agreement between the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Kosova Chamber of Commerce. This pivotal agreement led to the establishment of a Saudi-Kosovan business council, a strategic move aimed at boosting trade and investment flows between the two nations. This development signifies a new era in the economic relationship between Saudi Arabia and Kosovo.

Hassan Moejeb Al-Hwaizy, chair of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, emphasized the importance of increasing trade delegation visits and sharing information on investment opportunities in both countries. He noted that the current trade exchange stands at USD 3.2 million and expressed optimism that the newly formed business council would significantly enhance these figures.
Abdulrahman Al-Mofarreh, Chairman of the Saudi-Kosovan Business Council, shared his vision for the visit to Pristina. He highlighted the goal of strengthening commercial ties with Kosovo's business sector by leveraging mutual determination and exploring available opportunities.
The meeting also served as a platform to showcase investment opportunities and environments in both Saudi Arabia and Kosovo. Noteworthy presentations included those on the "Invest Saudi" brand by the Ministry of Investment and the "Made in Saudi" program by the Saudi Exports Development Authority. Additionally, services provided by the Saudi EXIM Bank were brought to attention, further underscoring the comprehensive support mechanisms in place to facilitate bilateral trade and investment.
This gathering in Pristina not only underscores the commitment of both nations to deepen their economic partnership but also sets a solid foundation for future collaboration. With such initiatives in place, Saudi Arabia and Kosovo are poised to unlock new avenues for prosperity and growth in their respective economies.
