Saudi-Jordanian Joint Business Forum Launches To Enhance Economic Ties In Amman

The Saudi-Jordanian Joint Business Forum began in Amman, Jordan, organised by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce with the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Saudi Export Development Authority. The event aims to strengthen economic ties between Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Eng. Yarub Al-Qudah stressed the importance of creating a comprehensive economic relationship. He called for strategic partnerships that benefit both countries, especially given the changing global trade landscape and rising protectionist policies.

Saudi-Jordanian Business Forum Begins in Amman

Dr. Hamdan Al-Samreen, President of the Al-Jouf Chamber of Commerce and Head of the Saudi Delegation, highlighted recent progress in Saudi-Jordanian economic relations. He attributed this advancement to leadership efforts from both nations. The forum serves as a platform for business leaders to enhance trade and investment partnerships.

Dr. Al-Samreen also pointed out that both Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision 2033 show a mutual commitment to strengthening economic connections. These visions aim to leverage competitive advantages and empower private sector investments in promising industries.

A cooperation agreement was signed between Saudi Exports and the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) during the forum. Presentations were made by Saudi Exports, the Saudi Ministry of Investment, and MODON, focusing on enhancing trade opportunities.

The event included agreements between companies from both countries and bilateral business meetings aimed at boosting trade and investment prospects. These initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to facilitate trade by removing barriers and encouraging collaboration between investors from both nations.

The Federation of Saudi Chambers is committed to fostering stronger cooperation through mutual visits and economic forums. This dedication is crucial for facilitating trade between Saudi Arabia and Jordan, ensuring that investors can explore new opportunities together.
