Saudi-Jordan Agreement To Provide Cancer Care For Gaza Patients

Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), visited the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) in Amman, Jordan. He was joined by Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of KHCC's board of trustees, and Saudi ambassador to Jordan, Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi.

During his visit, Dr. Al Rabeeah toured various departments within KHCC to understand the medical cases and the latest technical advancements. He also assessed the level of cancer care in Jordan, including treatment, prevention, and awareness services offered to patients in Jordan and the Arab world.

Following the tour, Dr. Al Rabeeah and Princess Ghida Talal signed an agreement to treat cancer patients from Gaza in Jordan. This agreement aims to provide treatment for 150 individuals at a cost of $3,615,800 million.

Princess Ghida Talal expressed her gratitude for this agreement, highlighting the significant opportunity it offers Palestinian cancer patients from Gaza to recover. She thanked Saudi Arabia and KSrelief for their ongoing support for those in need worldwide.

Dr. Al Rabeeah emphasized that this agreement underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment through KSrelief to support cancer patients globally and alleviate their suffering.
