Modern railway transport is now a crucial driver of economic development, according to Al-Jasser. It facilitates trade, supports the mining industry, and expands sustainable transportation options. These efforts strengthen logistics, improve mobility, enhance quality of life, and promote environmental sustainability.

Al-Jasser also mentioned that the railway sector helps preserve road infrastructure and improves traffic safety. This is achieved by reducing road congestion and wear through efficient rail transport solutions.

The first day of the exhibition saw several agreements signed between local and international partners. These agreements focus on manufacturing, maintenance, infrastructure development, and artificial intelligence applications. They aim to enhance operational efficiency, localize technologies, and empower national talent.

The exhibition features over 248 exhibitors from around the world. They showcase innovations in smart operating systems, engineering designs, sustainability solutions, and more. There are also dedicated platforms for investors and entrepreneurs to explore opportunities within the railway sector.

This event underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to advancing its railway infrastructure as part of its broader economic vision. By fostering international collaboration and innovation, the Kingdom aims to position itself as a leader in sustainable transport solutions.
