Saudi Geological Survey Releases 27th Edition Of 'Ardhona' For Earth Sciences

The Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) has unveiled the 27th edition of its scientific journal, "Ardhona: Geology and Mining". Tariq Abaalkhail, an SGS spokesperson, highlighted the journal's role as a key resource for SGS and an advisory body to the government in earth sciences. He stated, "The journal serves as a premier resource for SGS and a vital advisory body to the government in the realm of earth sciences."

Abaalkhail emphasised that the publication aligns its geological and mining content with both the National Minerals Program and the latest global research. He added that this annual release underscores the government's dedication to excellence in scientific research and sustainability within these sectors. The journal aims to foster growth in technical outputs, disseminate knowledge, and provide updates on SGS's ongoing projects.

The latest edition features contributions from a diverse group of global scientists, experts, governmental officials, academics, and specialists. Abaalkhail noted that Saudi and foreign women have also contributed to this edition, marking a significant milestone for the Ardhona series.
