Saudi Federation For Robotics Collaborates With VEX Robotics And RECF To Boost STEM Education In Saudi Arabia
The Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports has partnered with VEX Robotics and the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF) to boost STEM education in Saudi Arabia. This collaboration aims to integrate cutting-edge robotics technologies into classrooms and competitions, aligning with Vision 2030’s emphasis on technological innovation and youth empowerment.
CEO of the Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports Abdullah Alsunaydi expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating: "We are pleased to collaborate with VEX Robotics and RECF to enhance the robotics field in Saudi Arabia. This partnership supports our mission to build a knowledge-based society, drive innovation, and create new opportunities for our youth."

This initiative seeks to foster a culture of excellence in STEM by providing students with world-class educational tools. It opens new avenues for students to explore robotics, develop essential skills, and participate in global competitions. The collaboration is a significant step towards equipping Saudi students with advanced educational platforms.
VEX Robotics offers an engaging educational solution called VEX Continuum. This program is designed to involve students from elementary through university levels, providing hands-on learning experiences. Meanwhile, RECF organizes the world’s largest robotics competition, encouraging students to apply classroom knowledge in dynamic environments.
Tony Norman, CEO and Founder of VEX Robotics, highlighted the partnership's goal: "This partnership aims at inspiring the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers by equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving world." By expanding access to robotics education, this collaboration aims to inspire students to explore STEM fields confidently.
The partnership will also focus on teacher training and providing educational resources. Local and regional competitions will be organized as part of these initiatives. These efforts aim to inspire students to pursue careers in science, technology, and engineering by building their confidence in these fields.
This collaboration between the Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports, VEX Robotics, and RECF represents a strategic move towards enhancing STEM education across Saudi Arabia. By integrating advanced technologies into learning environments, it supports Vision 2030’s goals of technological advancement and youth empowerment.
