Saudi Falcons And Hunting Exhibition Highlights Hima Cultural Area's Rich Heritage
The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2025 offers a glimpse into the Kingdom's cultural and environmental heritage. It features the Hima Cultural Area in Najran, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This event, organised by the Saudi Falcons Club, aims to showcase national achievements and archaeological sites on an international stage.
Visitors can explore a special pavilion dedicated to "Hima Najran," which presents a detailed miniature of the archaeological site. This exhibit provides an immersive experience that highlights the historical and environmental significance of the area. It underscores the Kingdom's commitment to preserving its natural and cultural heritage.

The pavilion displays elements of the Hima Cultural Area, known for its extensive rock carvings. These carvings, numbering over 550, date back thousands of years. The site is one of the largest open-air museums of rock inscriptions in Saudi Arabia, covering more than 500 square kilometers.
The rock art narrates stories of human life, including economic, social, and environmental aspects. It documents pre-Islamic customs and traditions alongside wildlife depictions. Visitors can also learn about mountain and desert trails, as well as concepts related to environmental sustainability and natural human heritage.
The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2025 will take place from October 2 to 11 at the Saudi Falcons Club headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh. This ten-day event serves as a gateway for both local and international visitors to discover national heritage sites.
This exhibition not only celebrates cultural achievements but also educates attendees about significant archaeological locations within Saudi Arabia. By highlighting these sites, it aims to foster a deeper understanding of the Kingdom's rich history and efforts in conservation.
Through this event, visitors gain insight into how ancient societies lived and interacted with their environment. The exhibition emphasises the importance of preserving these historical narratives for future generations while promoting awareness about Saudi Arabia's diverse heritage.
