Saudi Exports And Al Nahdi Join Forces To Promote Saudi-Made Products In Pharmacies
The Saudi Export Development Authority (SAUDI EXPORTS) has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Nahdi Medical Company through its "Made in Saudi Program." This partnership is designed to bolster national products by increasing their presence in Al Nahdi's extensive pharmacy network, which is a leader in the pharmaceutical retail sector in Saudi Arabia.
The MoU signing ceremony took place in Riyadh and also marked the introduction of the first shelves dedicated to national products within Al Nahdi pharmacies. These shelves, branded as "Saudi-Made," will display high-quality, locally manufactured health and medical supplies. The initiative aims to encourage consumers to choose local goods while promoting the growth of Saudi exports globally.

Eng. Abdulrahman Althukair, CEO of SAUDI EXPORTS, emphasized that this strategic collaboration aligns with SAUDI EXPORTS' commitment to fostering effective partnerships with both public and private sectors. He stated: "This strategic collaboration aligns with SAUDI EXPORTS' commitment, through the Made in Saudi program, to foster effective strategic partnerships with both the public and private sectors. These partnerships serve the objectives of enhancing the position of Saudi products and facilitating their access to consumers in local and international markets."
This partnership is part of SAUDI EXPORTS' ongoing efforts to support economic diversification and contribute to Saudi Vision 2030 by empowering Saudi products domestically and promoting their exports globally. The MoU signing signifies the start of several national projects within the healthcare sector aimed at supporting local pharmaceutical industries.
The projects under this agreement will focus on localizing pharmaceutical industries, medical supplies, and health products while increasing their distribution within and outside Saudi Arabia. Additionally, they aim to raise consumer awareness about high-quality national products through training sessions, workshops related to the Made in Saudi program, and participation in exhibitions and events.
These initiatives collectively aim to drive national economic development while enhancing consumer perception of Saudi products and services both domestically and internationally. By focusing on these areas, SAUDI EXPORTS seeks to strengthen the presence of locally made goods in various markets.
The collaboration between SAUDI EXPORTS and Al Nahdi Medical Company represents a significant step towards achieving these goals. It highlights a shared vision for promoting local goods and expanding their reach beyond national borders.
