Saudi Development Program For Yemen Partners With Children With Disability Association To Support Disabled Individuals
The Children with Disability Association and the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) have formalised a partnership to support Yemenis with disabilities. This agreement, signed at the association's headquarters in Riyadh, aims to enhance the skills of workers in this sector. Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and SDRPY General Supervisor Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber were present for the signing.
Prince Sultan bin Salman highlighted that this memorandum builds on existing collaborations to tackle disability issues. It focuses on providing advisory services to SDRPY for setting up medical rehabilitation centres for various disabilities. He praised Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his longstanding support, which has allowed the association to expand its services across Saudi Arabia.

The association has grown significantly over 40 years, surpassing many global institutions in its field. The memorandum also seeks to exchange expertise and knowledge while fostering partnerships with international organisations. These efforts aim to integrate children with disabilities into their communities through interactive activities.
This collaboration is part of SDRPY's larger mission to implement development projects that benefit people with disabilities and other societal groups in Yemen. The focus remains on delivering initiatives that improve lives and promote inclusivity within these communities.
The partnership reflects a commitment to addressing disability challenges by leveraging shared knowledge and resources. By working together, both organisations aim to create sustainable solutions that empower individuals with disabilities in Yemen and beyond.
