Saudi Foreign Minister Leads Delegation At Gaza Peace Summit In Sharm El-Sheikh

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah represented His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the Gaza Peace Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. The summit aimed to halt the conflict in the Gaza Strip and foster peace in the Middle East. It was co-chaired by Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump, with numerous international leaders and representatives present.

The summit began with participants welcoming a new agreement between conflicting parties in Gaza. They praised President Trump's efforts alongside mediating countries like Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye. The attendees expressed their support for initiatives promoting peace and stability in the region.

In a significant move, leaders from the U.S., Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye signed an agreement to end the war in Gaza. This marked a crucial step towards a comprehensive ceasefire. The agreement ensures ongoing humanitarian aid, facilitates prisoner exchanges, and sets the stage for future reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

The Saudi delegation included Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al-Farhan and Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Saleh Al-Hussaini. Also present were Director General of the Minister of Foreign Affairs’ Office Waleed Al-Ismail, Minister Plenipotentiary Dr. Manal Radwan, and Advisor to the Minister Mohammed Alyahya.

The summit concluded with a commitment to maintaining peace efforts in the region. Leaders emphasized the importance of continued cooperation among nations to ensure lasting stability and prosperity for all involved parties.
