Saudi Culinary Culture At SIGEP WORLD 2026 Showcases Rich Heritage And Hospitality On International Stage
The Culinary Arts Commission is using the "Taste of Saudi Culture" pavilion at SIGEP WORLD 2026 to present Saudi cuisine to international visitors. The pavilion introduces guests to the variety of Saudi dishes and products, while supporting the Kingdom’s broader cultural presence worldwide.
SIGEP WORLD 2026 is being held at the Rimini Expo Centre in the Italian city of Rimini from January 16 to 20. The event gathers specialists in confectionery, bakery, coffee and chocolate, offering the commission a key platform to reach global industry professionals.

Inside the pavilion, visitors experience a Saudi majlis, or traditional gathering space, where they are welcomed with five types of Saudi coffee and dates. This setting demonstrates Saudi hospitality in practice and helps guests understand the range of crops and food products produced across the Kingdom.
The Culinary Arts Commission also organises interactive workshops in the pavilion, showing how traditional Saudi culinary methods are combined with modern preparation techniques. These sessions allow professionals and visitors to see how historic recipes can be adapted, while preserving the identity and authenticity of Saudi culinary culture.
By taking part in SIGEP WORLD 2026, the commission aims to highlight the depth and regional diversity of Saudi cuisine, from appetisers to sweets. The participation also supports the global profile of Saudi crops and packaged foods, reinforcing the position of local products in international markets.
The commission states that its efforts at the exhibition reflect a long-term commitment to developing Saudi talent in food-related fields and promoting distinguished national products. The presence in Rimini, recorded at 20:06 local time and 17:06 GMT by SPA, is presented as part of wider work to anchor Saudi culinary arts as a recognised cultural reference internationally.
