Saudi Culinary Arts Highlighted At SIGEP WORLD 2026 In Rimini, Italy
The Culinary Arts Commission is taking part in SIGEP WORLD 2026 from 16 to 20 January at the Rimini Expo Centre in the Italian city of Rimini. Through the "Taste of Saudi Culture" pavilion, the commission presents Saudi culinary arts, hospitality and products to international visitors and industry specialists, helping to increase awareness of Saudi culinary culture and support the Kingdom’s wider cultural presence abroad.
SIGEP WORLD 2026 is regarded as a major international fair for professionals in confectionery, bakery, coffee and chocolate, drawing companies, experts and decision-makers from many countries. By joining this platform, the Culinary Arts Commission reinforces the Kingdom’s visibility in these sectors and connects Saudi producers and culinary talent with global partners, buyers and influencers in the food and beverage industry.

Within the "Taste of Saudi Culture" pavilion, visitors experience a Saudi majlis, or traditional gathering space, where guests are received with five varieties of Saudi coffee and dates. This setting introduces international attendees to established Saudi hospitality customs and allows them to discover the range of Saudi coffee flavours, date types and related products that originate from different areas of the Kingdom.
The pavilion also features interactive cultural and culinary activities that demonstrate Saudi culinary culture in practice, including live workshops that show how traditional Saudi cooking methods can work alongside modern techniques. These sessions highlight regional recipes, preparation styles and ingredients, while drawing attention to Saudi crops and food products, and how they may be used in contemporary kitchens and global food service operations.
Through its role at SIGEP WORLD 2026, the Culinary Arts Commission underscores the depth and authenticity of Saudi cuisine across the Kingdom’s regions, from everyday dishes to festive specialities.
