Saudi-Chadian Islamic Cooperation Deepened Through Executive Program Signing
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has agreed an executive program with the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Chad, aiming to deepen Islamic cooperation, promote moderation and tolerance, and support joint efforts against extremism and terrorism between Saudi Arabia and Chad.
Officials from both sides state that the executive program will strengthen existing ties and create organised channels for joint work serving Islam and Muslims. It is designed to support balanced religious guidance, encourage dialogue, and coordinate initiatives that address security and social challenges.

The agreement sets out several practical fields of cooperation. Key elements include specialised training courses for preachers and imams in the Republic of Chad, helping to build religious knowledge and skills. The ministry will also supply copies of the Holy Quran and translations of its meanings, alongside scholarly and dawah publications.
The executive program also provides for invitations to Islamic seminars and conferences, as well as Quran memorisation competitions. It covers organised visits for preachers and students of Islamic knowledge to Chad, supporting direct exchange of experience and strengthening links between religious institutions in the two countries.
Another part of the executive program addresses modern communication tools. Both parties will cooperate in online outreach and share expertise in audio-visual religious media production. This is intended to support accurate Islamic content, expand the reach of educational messages, and address misleading narratives on digital platforms.
The executive program was signed in Jeddah by Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh and the president of the council, Dr. Muhammad Khatir Issa, in the presence of officials from both sides, reflecting ongoing efforts to expand partnerships with Islamic institutions worldwide.
