Saudi Business Center Engages In Saudi Lawyers Conference To Enhance Legal Services Access

The Saudi Business Center (SBC) took part in the Saudi Lawyers Conference on December 22-23, 2024, in Riyadh. The event focused on "Developments in the Lawyers and Legal Consultations Sector." During the conference, SBC introduced a hotline for lawyer services at its contact center. This initiative aims to provide establishments, corporations, and both Gulf and foreign investors with easy access to legal services.

SBC also hosted a workshop titled "The Role of the Saudi Business Center in Facilitating Business Procedures." This session highlighted advancements in delivering governmental services to businesses. Attendees learned about over 15 services available through the Business Platform, such as company formation and contract amendments under the New Corporates Law.

SBC Participates in Saudi Lawyers Conference

During the workshop, SBC emphasized its efforts to enhance financial statement quality. The secure government platform for financial filings, known as "Qawaem," plays a crucial role in maximizing benefits. This platform ensures that financial statements are accurate and beneficial for users.

SBC representatives discussed their collaboration with 74 governmental partners within the business sector. Through this partnership, they offer 3,187 services via an in-person and one-stop shop interface. These services are accessible at SBC's 19 branches across 15 cities in Saudi Arabia and through its digital Business Platform.

A key role of SBC is proposing and refining policies and procedures. They work closely with relevant governmental partners to review and re-engineer these processes. Their goal is to align with international best practices, creating an attractive business environment that supports national economic growth.

The conference provided a platform for SBC to showcase its initiatives aimed at improving business procedures. By collaborating with various partners, SBC strives to streamline processes and enhance service delivery for businesses operating within Saudi Arabia.
