GACA To Showcase Saudi Aviation Progress At Egypt International Airshow 2024

President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, is leading a delegation to the Egypt International Airshow 2024. The event, scheduled from September 3 to 5, will be held at El Alamein International Airport in northern Egypt. This airshow will feature various activities and significant gatherings related to the aviation industry.

The airshow offers GACA a platform to showcase Saudi Arabia's aviation sector accomplishments. In recent years, Saudi Arabia's civil aviation sector has undergone significant transformation. Between January and June this year, passenger numbers increased by 17%, reaching 62 million passengers. Additionally, flights rose by 12% to 446,000 flights, surpassing pre-pandemic levels. These milestones align with the national aviation sector strategy aimed at fostering growth and innovation.
