Saudi Aviation Club Unveils Exciting Details For Airshow 2025 In Riyadh
The Saudi Aviation Club has unveiled details for the 2025 General Aviation Airshow, "Sand and Fun," under the patronage of Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz. The announcement was made during a news conference attended by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, founder and chairman of the club, and Dr. Ahmed AlFahid, a board member and general supervisor.
The airshow is scheduled from November 25 to 29 at Al Thumamah Airport in Riyadh. Organisers aim to attract over 200,000 visitors with entertainment zones catering to both children and adults. The event promises a mix of spectacular aerial displays and educational content, featuring more than 90 performances by Saudi and international teams.

A trade exhibition will be part of the airshow, serving as a business hub with over 100 exhibitors. Attendees can explore innovations in aviation technology while networking with industry leaders. This setup aims to enhance business opportunities and partnerships within the sector.
Static displays will offer visitors a chance to engage directly with general aviation. Attendees can closely view iconic aircraft, providing a unique opportunity to explore aviation up close. These displays are designed to deepen public interest in aviation.
The program includes "Hangar Talks," where experts and Saudi astronauts discuss sustainable aviation's future. Topics will cover advanced technologies like electric vertical take-off vehicles (eVTOLs), autonomous aircraft, and AI applications in aviation.
The "Aviatainment Zone" focuses on "Learning Through Wonder." It features virtual reality simulators, workshops on building aircraft models, and interactive cockpit tours guided by pilots. These activities aim to transform curiosity into active engagement.
Inclusivity and Accessibility
To celebrate the Saudi Aviation Club's 25th anniversary, Prince Sultan bin Salman announced an initiative promoting inclusivity. People with disabilities and children under six will receive free admission, ensuring comprehensive accessibility at Al Thumamah Airport.
