SDAIA President Discusses AI Vision in USA

Dr. Alghamdi expressed confidence in Saudi Arabia's journey to becoming a global leader in AI innovation. He noted that SDAIA's establishment as an integrated government system has significantly contributed to planning and implementing data and AI policies.

SDAIA plays a crucial role in improving and standardising data quality nationwide. It also focuses on developing AI policies that align with national goals. This strategic approach ensures that Saudi Arabia remains at the forefront of technological advancements.

The authority comprises three main bodies: the operational arm, which manages national data infrastructure through the National Information Center; the regulatory arm, represented by the National Data Management Office; and the innovation arm, embodied by the National Center for AI.

These entities work together to ensure seamless integration and operation of data systems across various sectors. Their collaborative efforts are pivotal in driving Saudi Arabia's digital transformation agenda forward.

Dr. Alghamdi emphasised that SDAIA's initiatives have positioned Saudi Arabia as a central hub for AI development. By fostering collaboration between different sectors, SDAIA aims to create a robust ecosystem that supports innovation and growth in artificial intelligence.

The forum provided an opportunity for stakeholders from both countries to exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations in AI and digital infrastructure development. Such interactions are vital for strengthening bilateral relations and promoting mutual growth in technology sectors.

SDAIA continues to play an instrumental role in shaping Saudi Arabia's digital future by leveraging its expertise in data management and artificial intelligence. Its efforts are aligned with national objectives to enhance technological capabilities and drive economic diversification.
