Saudi Arabia's Urban And Digital Transformation Discussed By Majed Al-Hogail At Qatar Forum
At the third Qatar Real Estate Forum in Doha, Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail represented Saudi Arabia as the guest of honour. He participated in a high-level ministerial session focused on the real estate sector's roadmap towards Vision 2030. Al-Hogail discussed Saudi Arabia's urban, regulatory, and digital transformations under Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Hogail highlighted that Gulf countries are witnessing significant changes in attracting capital, talent, and job opportunities. These shifts align with evolving lifestyles and the demands of younger generations. This necessitates developing new community and city models prioritising people and quality of life.

The minister noted that Saudi Vision 2030 marked a pivotal moment in transitioning from market management to empowerment. These elements have improved service efficiency, sped up implementation, and reshaped the real estate experience.
Al-Hogail emphasised that under leadership support, Saudi Arabia continues to advance institutional transformation and economic empowerment. This progress ensures sustainable real estate growth, balances supply and demand, and enhances urban quality of life.
He concluded by highlighting Gulf integration in the real estate sector as crucial for building a mature and sustainable regional market.
