Saudi Arabia And UK Establish One-Stop Security Agreement To Improve Passenger Travel Experience
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) President, Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, signed the "One-Stop Security" agreement in London with the UK's Department for Transport. Represented by Rannia Leontaridi, this agreement allows security checks at UK airports to be accepted for passengers heading to Saudi Arabia and beyond. This move strengthens Saudi Arabia's role as a global aviation hub.
Passengers arriving in Saudi Arabia from the UK will no longer need additional security checks. This change reduces waiting times and enhances satisfaction by streamlining procedures for connecting flights. It also boosts airport efficiency and helps airlines optimize their schedules by cutting down on ground time.

The agreement promotes security and technical collaboration between the two nations. By sharing best practices and data on risk management, both countries aim to uphold high standards of aviation safety. This initiative is part of GACA's broader strategy to improve passenger experiences through advanced technologies.
This partnership aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to enhance air connectivity and facilitate international travel. By eliminating redundant procedures while maintaining top-notch security, the agreement supports the National Aviation Strategy's goals.
The "One-Stop Security" agreement reflects a commitment to promoting international travel and trade. It underscores both countries' dedication to ensuring aviation safety while making travel more efficient for passengers worldwide.
Saudi airports are set to become globally competitive hubs through this initiative. The focus is on adopting digital solutions that elevate passenger experiences, aligning with GACA's efforts to transform the aviation sector in Saudi Arabia.
This strategic step not only enhances passenger convenience but also reinforces Saudi Arabia's position as a key player in global aviation. By reducing transit times and maintaining high security standards, it marks significant progress toward achieving long-term objectives.
