Saudi Arabia And UK Strengthen Rail Transport Cooperation Through MoU Activation

A Saudi Arabian delegation, led by the Transport General Authority (TGA), visited the UK Department for Transport in London. This visit aimed to activate a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between both nations concerning rail transport. The delegation included representatives from the TGA's Deputyship for Railway Transport, the National Transport Safety Center (NTSC), and Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR).

The visit, which occurred from August 12 to 14, was part of an official exchange program. It focused on implementing the MoU's provisions and learning from the UK's experience in regulating and developing its rail sector. During their stay, the Saudi delegation engaged in bilateral meetings with senior officials at the UK Department for Transport.
