Saudi Arabia Advocates For Women's Empowerment And Rights At GCC Event

On a significant day dedicated to celebrating the achievements and rights of women worldwide, the Vice Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji, represented the Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah at the International Women's Day celebration. This event, held at the headquarters of the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh, underscored the Kingdom's commitment to women's empowerment as a cornerstone of its Vision 2030.

In his address, Eng. El-Khereiji highlighted the pivotal role women play in Saudi society and the nation's dedication to advancing their rights and eliminating discrimination. He pointed out that Saudi women have become vital contributors to the country's ongoing transformation, development, and growth across various sectors.
