Saudi Arabia Amplifies Support For Holy Quran Memorizers Worldwide

The Saudi Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radi, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its wise leadership for their dedication to the Holy Quran and its memorizers. He also praised their significant role in serving Islam and Muslims globally.

Ambassador Al-Radi highlighted the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance’s efforts in organizing Quran competitions and supporting various Islamic activities worldwide. He made these remarks during the closing ceremony of the second Quran Memorization Competition for girls in Kyrgyzstan. This event saw participation from 270 female competitors.

Saudi Boosts Quran Support Globally

The ambassador emphasized that since its founding by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, the Kingdom has prioritized the Holy Quran. Specialized schools and colleges have been established, Quran sessions are held in mosques, and the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran was created. This complex translates the Quran into over 77 languages, including Kyrgyz and Russian.

Saudi Arabia distributes copies of the Quran free of charge to Muslims worldwide, including pilgrims and Umrah performers. The Kingdom also organizes Quran competitions with valuable prizes both domestically and internationally. These initiatives reflect Saudi Arabia's commitment to promoting Islamic teachings globally.

In his concluding remarks, Ambassador Al-Radi expressed sincere gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their service to Islam and Muslims. He prayed for Allah to reward them generously for their efforts.

Support for Moderate Islamic Approach

The ambassador also thanked the Minister of Islamic Affairs for overseeing these competitions and supporting all Islamic activities. He acknowledged their role in promoting a moderate and tolerant approach within Islam.

Ambassador Al-Radi's statements underscore Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to fostering Islamic education and values through various initiatives worldwide.
