Saudi Arabia Submits Official Registration Dossier For World Expo 2030 In Riyadh

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has formally submitted its registration dossier for World Expo 2030 Riyadh to the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE). This submission, presented by Saudi Ambassador to France Fahad Al-Ruwaily to BIE Secretary-General Dimitri Kerkentzes, underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to hosting this significant global event. The dossier marks a pivotal step in the Kingdom's preparations, signalling the start of practical implementation plans.

Following its election as the host country during the 173rd BIE general assembly in November 2023, Saudi Arabia is now moving forward with detailed plans. The comprehensive dossier outlines all necessary organizational, procedural, and operational aspects. It includes an operational timeline, legislative and regulatory procedures, financial frameworks, and a master plan for the exhibition site. Additionally, it details international participation conditions and strategies for investing in the Expo’s legacy.
