Saudi Arabia And Singapore Forge Legal Cooperation Deal To Enhance Competitiveness And Economic Growth
Saudi Arabia's National Competitiveness Center (NCC) and Singapore's Ministry of Law have entered into a memorandum of cooperation. This agreement aims to improve the legal and regulatory frameworks in both nations, supporting sustainable economic growth and enhancing global competitiveness. The signing took place in Riyadh, with Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi, Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the NCC, and Edwin Tong, Singapore’s Minister of Law, officiating the event.
The collaboration focuses on several key areas such as legal research, legislative development, commercial arbitration, and digital transformation of legal systems. It also seeks to enhance institutional capacity by promoting the exchange of expertise in regulatory and governance practices. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to strengthen Saudi Arabia's position as a leading global investment hub.

Dr. Al-Kassabi highlighted that this partnership is crucial for Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 objectives.
