The Kingdom's RQI score has reached 5.7, positioning it fourth among the G20 nations. This index is a critical measure, evaluating the quality of road networks to ensure user safety and efficiency.
Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, credited this accomplishment to the continuous support from the leadership and dedicated efforts to uphold the Kingdom’s global standing in road network connectivity. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to enhance road quality, operational efficiency, and safety, aligning with the ambitious goals set forth in Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 for national transport and logistics services.

Further emphasizing the Kingdom's progress, Acting CEO of the Roads General Authority (RGA), Badr bin Abdullah Aldulami, noted the exceptional momentum within the road sector in 2023. This momentum has been instrumental in achieving such a remarkable score. According to RGA, the WEF report underscores a significant improvement in Saudi Arabia’s RQI, marking an increase from 5.2 to 5.7. This growth rate, exceeding 10%, is the highest recorded among the G20 countries.
