In a significant display of solidarity and support, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, in collaboration with the religious attaché at the Saudi embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, recently hosted a grand Iftar banquet in Tirana, the capital of Albania. This event saw participation from more than 600 individuals, both men and women, who were fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. The banquet was graced by the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Albania Faisal Hifzi, Boyar Sepahyu, the head of the Islamic Sheikhdom of Albania, alongside several ambassadors and notable Islamic figures.
The attendees collectively lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its unwavering commitment to supporting Islam and Muslims globally. This was particularly highlighted through the various programs initiated for the benefit of Albanian Muslims. The Kingdom's leadership received heartfelt thanks for their considerable contributions towards Islam and its followers. Additionally, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs was commended for its dedication to executing these beneficial programs.

At the heart of this year's Ramadan observance, the Ministry launched the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift programs in the Republic of Albania. This initiative included distributing five tons of dates and organizing Iftar banquets, touching the lives of approximately 28,000 Muslims across Albania. Such efforts underscore the Kingdom's role in fostering a sense of community and support among Muslims during one of the most sacred months.
The Iftar banquet in Tirana not only provided an opportunity for fasting individuals to break their fast together but also served as a platform for promoting unity and understanding among different cultures and religions. The presence of various ambassadors and Islamic figures at the event further emphasized the importance of intercultural dialogue and cooperation.
This initiative by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is part of a broader effort by Saudi Arabia to extend its support to Muslim communities worldwide. By hosting such events and implementing programs like the distribution of dates and organizing Iftar banquets, the Kingdom continues to play a pivotal role in serving Islam and Muslims globally. The appreciation expressed by attendees at the Tirana banquet reflects the positive impact of these initiatives on fostering a sense of belonging and community among Muslims during Ramadan.
