Saudi Arabia And Poland Deepen Cooperation On Trade, Diplomacy And Regional Issues

Saudi Arabia and Poland are deepening cooperation across political, economic and security areas, according to Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah. During an official visit to Poland, Prince Faisal explained that the two countries aim to expand their partnership through new institutional frameworks, updated agreements and closer coordination on regional and international questions.

Prince Faisal spoke at a joint press conference in Poland, where the minister outlined several outcomes of the visit. These included new arrangements designed to support regular dialogue between the two governments, while also making official travel easier for specific categories of passport holders engaged in diplomatic and special missions.

Saudi Arabia and Poland deepen cooperation

The minister announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to create a Saudi-Polish Coordination Council. This body is expected to manage joint projects and follow up on bilateral initiatives. Prince Faisal also confirmed an agreement on reciprocal visa exemptions for holders of diplomatic and special passports, simplifying official visits and helping both sides maintain continuous high-level contact.

Prince Faisal reported that trade between Saudi Arabia and Poland reached about $12 billion in 2024. He added that commercial exchange totalled around $8 billion by the end of the third quarter of 2025. The minister stressed that both governments are keen to grow these figures further, aligning economic cooperation with the directions of their leaderships.

The minister highlighted the strong level of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Poland inside international organisations. Prince Faisal welcomed ongoing coordination in multilateral forums, noting that such engagement supports joint positions on key issues. The minister underlined that swift changes in global affairs increase the need for regular consultation and constructive dialogue between the two friendly states.

Prince Faisal referred to extensive discussions with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Radosław Sikorski. The talks covered a wide range of regional and international topics of mutual concern. The minister said Saudi Arabia values the convergence of views with Poland regarding the Palestinian cause and reiterated support for a two-state solution consistent with relevant international laws and United Nations resolutions.

According to information carried by SPA, Prince Faisal confirmed that Saudi Arabia appreciates strong ties with Poland across multiple fields. The minister indicated that institutional tools such as the new coordination council, growing trade, and aligned positions on major issues are expected to support broader cooperation, while both sides continue consultations on developments affecting their shared interests.
