Saudi Arabia Concludes Successful Participation In Airshow China 2024, Showcasing Military Innovations
The Saudi pavilion, organised by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), recently wrapped up its participation in the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition, also known as Airshow China 2024. Held from November 12 to 17 in Zhuhai, China, the pavilion attracted considerable interest from visitors, officials, and international investors keen on exploring Saudi Arabia's advancements in military industries.
Saudi Arabia's pavilion highlighted its commitment to localising over half of its government spending on military equipment and services by 2030. This aligns with GAMI's initiatives aimed at unlocking investment opportunities and enhancing industrial capabilities. The event showcased the Kingdom’s achievements and plans for future collaboration and innovation in the sector.

Numerous high-level meetings took place during the exhibition, leading to new initiatives and partnerships with participating entities. These engagements further solidified Saudi Arabia’s position as a key player in global aviation and defence. Participation of Key Entities
GAMI's efforts were supported by various government bodies and national companies specialising in military industries. Participants included the Ministry of Investment, General Authority for Defense Development, National Company for Mechanical Systems, WAKEB Company for Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems, Milestone Aviation Services, and Homat Al-Watan Company.

The pavilion emphasised Saudi Arabia's dedication to achieving Vision 2030 goals by localising advanced technologies and fostering innovation. It also focused on enabling collaboration between national and international companies. GAMI’s regulatory frameworks have created a conducive environment for investment, boosting both military capabilities and economic growth.
