Saudi Minister Launches 'Jadarat' To Empower National Employment
Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, introduced the unified national employment platform Jadarat today. This initiative supports the ministry's goal to empower national talent through an advanced digital platform. Al-Rajhi acknowledged the Saudi leadership's consistent support in developing human capital and enhancing its competitiveness in the labour market.
The establishment of Jadarat follows a Cabinet decision to create a unified platform managed by HRDF. This platform aims to centralise and document job seekers' data across both public and private sectors, improve data quality, streamline employment processes, and facilitate access to job opportunities. The initiative aligns with the broader objectives of digital transformation and Saudi Vision 2030.

Reflecting on progress in the Saudi labour market, Al-Rajhi praised the collaboration of various partners. This cooperation has helped reduce the unemployment rate to 7.6% and increased the number of Saudi workers in the private sector to approximately 2.3 million.
Al-Rajhi also highlighted HRDF's accomplishments, noting that over SAR3.79 billion was spent during the first half of this year on employment, training, and qualification support programs. These programs benefited more than 100,000 establishments. Additionally, more than 153,000 young Saudis were employed in the private sector during this period.
HRDF Director General Turki Al-Jawini reiterated that Jadarat aims to unify and document job seekers' data while simplifying the job-searching process. During its trial launch, the platform facilitated employment for over 114,000 job seekers and saw active engagement from more than 48,000 government and private entities.
Commitment to Sustainable Development
Al-Rajhi reaffirmed HRDF's commitment to continue working with partners to provide a sustainable and stable work environment for national talent. This effort supports sustainable development goals by ensuring long-term employment opportunities for Saudis.
The launch ceremony was attended by several prominent figures including Minister of Tourism Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb, Turki Al-Jawini, specialists, and labour market stakeholders.
"Jadarat was established following a Cabinet decision to create a unified platform," said Al-Rajhi. "It is managed by HRDF to centralise and document job seekers' data in both public and private sectors."
"The fund spent over SAR3.79 billion during the first half of this year on employing, training, and qualifying support programs," noted Al-Rajhi.
"More than 153,000 young Saudis were employed in the private sector during this period," he added.
This new platform is expected to significantly enhance employment processes by providing a centralised database for job seekers' information.
