Saudi Arabia Launches Strategy And Academy To Enhance Human Capability In Industry And Mining

In a significant move to bolster the industrial and mining sectors, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef has inaugurated the Strategy for Developing Human Capability alongside the National Academy for Industry. This pivotal event took place during the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference, which was held at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh, spanning February 28 to 29. The conference enjoyed the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The newly launched strategy is designed to enhance talent attraction, development, and empowerment within these critical sectors. It aims to foster an appealing work culture, support a conducive work environment, and elevate productivity and innovation levels. This initiative is in line with the National Strategy for Industry and further advances the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals.

Saudi Boosts Industry with New Human Strategy

The National Academy for Industry is set to play a crucial role in this strategic vision by offering training programs tailored for both experienced professionals and recent graduates. It will also bolster existing training institutes through incentives and facilitate strategic partnerships. The academy is committed to addressing various industry challenges and gaps by leading efforts in coordinating industrial human capital development. Through collaboration with diverse training providers, it will offer 18 distinct programs.

This development marks a significant step towards enhancing Saudi Arabia's industrial and mining sectors by focusing on human capital development. By aligning with the Kingdom's broader economic objectives, these initiatives promise to contribute substantially to the nation's progress towards achieving its Vision 2030 aspirations.
