In a significant move to support the Muslim community during the holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, through the Religious Attaché Office at the Saudi embassy in Thailand, has initiated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Gift Programs. This initiative, aimed at distributing dates and providing Iftar meals to fasting individuals in Malaysia, was officially launched at a ceremony held at the Anantara Siam Hotel in Bangkok. The event saw the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Thailand Abdurrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Suhaibani, along with a host of Saudi and Thai officials, ambassadors from Arab and Islamic nations, and notable Islamic personalities.
The programs are directly sponsored and supported by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the inauguration, Ambassador Al-Suhaibani extended the greetings of Saudi Arabia's leadership to all attendees in light of Ramadan. He shared the collective joy and appreciation expressed by everyone for the launch of these charitable initiatives and relayed their well-wishes back to the leadership for this blessed season.

Ambassador Al-Suhaibani also took the opportunity to praise the Kingdom's ongoing efforts in providing aid and support to Muslims across the globe during these auspicious times. This gesture not only underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to fostering Islamic solidarity but also highlights its role in extending humanitarian assistance during significant religious occasions.
