Saudi Arabia To Launch Fourth National Charitable Campaign This Ramadan

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is set to witness the launch of the fourth National Campaign for Charitable Work on Friday at 10:30 PM, under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. This initiative, which will be rolled out through the Ehsan National Platform for Charitable Work, aims to bolster charitable efforts across the nation, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

Eng. Ibrahim Alhusaini, Chief Executive Officer of Ehsan, emphasized the campaign's alignment with Ramadan's spirit of generosity and social solidarity. He underscored the significant backing from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, which has been instrumental in enabling Ehsan to effectively carry out its charitable mission within the Kingdom.

The campaign is designed to provide a structured and reliable avenue for individuals to contribute towards various charitable and developmental programs. Eng. Alhusaini also highlighted the opportunity for donations to the Ehsan Endowment Fund, which focuses on creating sustainable endowment options that support charitable activities across Saudi Arabia.

Eng. Al-Husseini shed light on the broad participation from individuals, businesses, and sectors in supporting the platform's initiatives. These contributions have significantly impacted beneficiaries' lives and are in line with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives to enhance charitable and development work's effectiveness.

The launch event for this year's campaign will be broadcast live on Al-Ekhbariya TV channel, allowing for widespread participation. The Ehsan platform continues to welcome donations through its application, website (Ehsan.sa), and via a dedicated phone line (8001247000), ensuring a wide-reaching impact during Ramadan.

Backed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Ehsan operates under strict governance and Sharia compliance, overseen by a committee of 13 government entities and a Sharia committee. To date, donations have surpassed SAR5 billion, benefiting over 4.8 million people in various charitable domains.
