Istitlaa Platform Opens 25 Projects For Public Feedback Across Saudi Government

The National Competitiveness Center’s Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, is currently displaying 25 draft projects dealing with economic and development matters. These proposals, prepared with 18 government bodies, are open for comments from the public, government entities, and private sector participants before final approval and implementation.

Istitlaa allows draft regulations, bylaws, and related documents to appear online in one place. This central platform supports a more transparent legislative environment. It also enables citizens, businesses, and public bodies to share views on rules that may affect the wider business environment in Saudi Arabia.

Istitlaa Opens 25 Public Feedback Projects

Several prominent initiatives on Istitlaa currently relate to cybersecurity, justice, sports, and equestrian regulation. These projects seek views on technical standards, legal procedures, and sector rules. Together, they reflect an effort to gather specialist and public input across diverse fields before decisions move forward.

The Ministry of Justice project, titled "Division of Common Property Regulations Amendment Project," seeks to match relevant rules with the Civil Transactions Law. It also aims to regulate the Entrustment and Liquidation Center and refine procedures for dividing joint funds, ensuring quicker, more flexible work while maintaining quality and legal safeguards.

The National Cybersecurity Authority project, "Updates on the National Cryptographic Standards," defines the lowest acceptable cryptographic levels for civilian and commercial activities. Its goal is to protect national data, legislation, and networks. Public comments on this security proposal remain available through Istitlaa until public consultation closes.

Istitlaa public consultation strengthening sector regulations

The Saudi Esports Federation has uploaded the "Saudi eLeague Regulation 2026" project on Istitlaa. The draft sets out how the Saudi Esports League will be run, covering player registration, match procedures, calculation of results, and the rules that guide competitive play across the league structure.

The Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia has proposed "Rules of Racing 2025/2026" through the same platform. The draft text seeks to protect the traditional and authentic character of equestrian sport. It also aims to ensure that racing principles and ethical standards are clearly translated into daily practice at events.

The current group of 25 projects on Istitlaa, developed with 18 government partners, underlines an ongoing move towards clearer regulation and broader consultation. By opening drafts to comments from individuals, public bodies, and private organisations, the platform supports more informed decision-making on future regulations in Saudi Arabia.
