Saudi Arabia To Host The 4th Saudi International Marine Exhibition SIMEC 2025 In Riyadh

Saudi Arabia will host the fourth Saudi International Marine Exhibition (SIMEC 2025) from February 3 to 5, 2025, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. This event highlights the Kingdom's dedication to enhancing the fisheries and aquaculture sectors globally. The exhibition will feature participation from over 120 companies across 21 countries and is anticipated to draw more than 4,000 business leaders and 15,000 visitors.

The exhibition aims to foster knowledge exchange among global experts and showcase innovations in aquaculture, fisheries, algae production, and fish feed. It also seeks to boost local and international investment in aquaculture while promoting sustainable seafood production. Discussions with key decision-makers will focus on the sector's future.

Saudi Arabia Hosts SIMEC 2025 in Riyadh

Interactive events like "Cooking Experience with the Chef" will be part of the exhibition. Over 120 chefs and seafood enthusiasts will present traditional Saudi seafood dishes. A business networking program will offer industry leaders a chance to connect, while an exhibition area will display advancements in fish farming and seafood processing.

More than 20 technical workshops featuring industry experts, academic institutions, and leading companies are planned alongside the exhibition. These sessions aim to provide insights into industry trends and innovations. Additionally, several cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding are expected between government entities and private firms.

Government agencies such as the Agricultural Development Fund, REEF Saudi Arabia, NIDLP, the National Center for Environmental Compliance, KAUST, and King Abdulaziz University will participate in SIMEC 2025. Their involvement underscores the importance of collaboration in advancing the fisheries sector within Saudi Arabia.
