King Salman Orders Hosting Of 1,000 Gaza Pilgrims For Hajj, Showcasing Support For Palestine

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has issued a royal decree to host 1,000 pilgrims from the families of martyrs and the wounded from the Gaza Strip. This initiative, titled "Hosting Initiative for Pilgrims from the Families of Martyrs and the Wounded from the Gaza Strip," aims to facilitate their Hajj pilgrimage this year.

This decree increases the total number of hosted pilgrims from Palestine to 2,000 under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit. The program is implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.

Saudi Hosts 1,000 Gaza Pilgrims

On this occasion, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, expressed his gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He praised their continuous support for the Palestinian people and their dedication to the Palestinian cause.

The minister highlighted that this gesture alleviates the hardships faced by Palestinians in Gaza. He noted that Saudi Arabia has consistently supported Palestine since the era of the late founder King Abdulaziz.

Dr. Al-Sheikh emphasized that enabling martyrs' families and the injured from Gaza to perform Hajj is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to support Palestinians. He stated that this initiative reflects the Kingdom's concern for Islamic issues and particularly for Palestine.

Since the issuance of the royal decree, the ministry has been preparing to receive these guests. Several committees have been formed to ensure their care and facilitate their Hajj pilgrimage with ease and convenience.

Prayers for Leadership

The minister also prayed for the safety of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He asked Almighty Allah to bless their efforts, accept the Hajj of the pilgrims, and acknowledge their righteous deeds.
