It will also focus on maximizing economic and social benefits from this critical industry. A ministerial meeting on January 14 will gather representatives from 100 countries, with participation from 50 governmental, commercial, and human rights organizations.

Al-Mudaifer mentioned that 250 speakers, including CEOs of major mining companies and financiers, will participate across 75 sessions. The event will host international geological survey leaders from Africa, Asia, and major global organizations like USGS, BGS, BRGM, and GTK.

An international exhibition will showcase cutting-edge technologies and innovations from leading mining companies. The exhibition aims to highlight minerals' essential role in supporting clean energy transitions and advanced industries while promoting sustainable supply chains.

Regional Collaboration Initiatives

On the forum's sidelines, regional discussion circles will bring together ministers, CEOs, and experts to address key issues like attracting investments and infrastructure development. These discussions aim to foster regional collaboration in Africa, Central Asia, and Latin America to unify efforts in enhancing global cooperation within the mining sector.

The forum will include several ministers and executives from leading global mining companies. This gathering underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to advancing its position as a pivotal player in the global mining landscape.
