Saudi Arabia has once again demonstrated its remarkable ability to improve healthcare services for pilgrims during the Hajj season. In 1446 AH, the Kingdom introduced groundbreaking initiatives in medical supply logistics, setting a new global standard. The integration of drones and helicopters into Saudi Arabia's medical supply framework marks a significant advancement. Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel announced this collaboration with the National Unified Procurement Company (Nupco). These are delivered from Nupco’s distribution centers directly to health facilities in congested areas. This solution allows urgent medical shipments to bypass ground traffic, ensuring prompt delivery during peak periods.
