Saudi Arabia Provides 125 Tons Of Dates To Jordan As A Symbol Of Brotherhood

In a significant act of generosity, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), has extended a helping hand to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan by donating 125 tons of dates. This charitable gesture, aimed at supporting underprivileged families across Jordan's 12 governorates, began with distributions in the Al-Qastal area, located south of Amman.

The Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, personally oversaw the delivery of this aid to Jordan's Royal Court Chief, Yousef Al-Issawi. The event was marked by the presence of Nayef bin Saleh Al-Shammari, Director of the KSrelief Branch in Jordan. During the handover, Ambassador Al-Sudairi expressed his deep appreciation for the leadership of Saudi Arabia—Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister—for their unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes.

Al-Sudairi highlighted KSrelief's pivotal role in meticulously overseeing and implementing such humanitarian programs. He underscored the organization's dedication to nurturing ties with Islamic leaderships and bolstering relations to amplify humanitarian efforts across all fronts. This initiative, according to Al-Sudairi, is a testament to Saudi Arabia's resolve in advancing its humanitarian missions worldwide.

On his part, Al-Issawi lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its substantial humanitarian contributions. He pointed out that such initiatives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques not only reflect positively on the brotherly relations between Saudi Arabia and Jordan but also significantly benefit the most disadvantaged families in Jordan.
