Saudi Arabia's Participation In Davos 2025 Showcases Leadership In Global Industrial Transformation

Saudi Arabia's involvement in the 2025 World Economic Forum in Davos underscores its significant global influence and commitment to industrial and mining advancements. Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, highlighted that sustainability is central to Saudi Vision 2030. The Kingdom is actively pursuing this through initiatives like "Saudi Green" and "Middle East Green," which aim to tackle environmental issues, cut carbon emissions, and promote afforestation.

Alkhorayef emphasised that Saudi Arabia's strategy for industrial and mining transformation rests on three pillars. The second pillar focuses on digital transformation by leveraging technologies from the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and 3D printing.
