Dalila Launches As A Comprehensive Off-Road Adventure Guide For Saudi Arabia's Winter Season

Saudi Arabia's official tourism brand, "Welcome to Arabia," has introduced Dalila on the Visit Saudi website and app. This initiative is part of the Winter Season, which offers numerous events and entertainment options across the country. Dalila acts as a guide for off-road enthusiasts, allowing them to create personalised itineraries with integrated services.

The platform provides detailed information on routes, programs, products, and tourist destinations. It enables visitors to explore Saudi Arabia effortlessly. The Dalila Map includes over 50 offline-accessible routes, ensuring users can navigate remote areas without losing their way.

Dalila Community allows users to connect with friends and family for trip planning. They can share experiences and send invitations for adventure outings. The Dalila Experience simplifies trip planning from booking to exploration, covering activities like hiking, stargazing, rock climbing, cycling, horseback riding, and camel treks.

The upcoming Dalila Educational Platform will offer training courses to help users develop essential outdoor skills. These courses will provide certified credentials upon completion. This feature aims to enhance users' outdoor experiences by equipping them with necessary skills.

Dalila also highlights Saudi Arabia's rich history by linking tourist destinations with notable figures in Arabic literature and poetry. This collaboration with the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission brings destinations to life through traditional stories.

The platform showcases the Kingdom’s natural beauty, including protected areas teeming with diverse flora, fauna, and bird species. It supports adventure tourism by offering stakeholders insights into tourist preferences and trends.

Winter Season Highlights

Private sector partners can use this data to develop products tailored to different audience segments. These range from pioneers and adventurers to casual visitors. Dalila is a key component of Saudi’s Winter Season.

This season features over 1,000 tourism experiences and events along with more than 500 exclusive offers across the Kingdom. Starting in October, it will continue until the end of the first quarter of 2025.

By integrating cultural elements with practical travel tools, Dalila enriches the visitor experience in Saudi Arabia. It combines historical narratives with modern conveniences for a comprehensive travel guide.
