Saudi Arabia And Multiple Nations Voice Concerns Over Israeli Statements Regarding Rafah Crossing Operations
The Foreign Ministers from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, and Qatar have voiced serious concerns over Israeli statements about opening the Rafah Crossing one way. This move aims to relocate Gaza Strip residents to Egypt. The ministers firmly reject any attempts to displace Palestinians from their homeland.
They stress the importance of adhering to U.S. President Donald Trump's plan, which includes keeping the Rafah Crossing open both ways. This ensures freedom of movement for Gaza's residents and avoids forcing them to leave. Instead, conditions should be created for them to remain and contribute to their homeland's development.

The ministers appreciate President Trump's dedication to regional peace and emphasize the need for full implementation of the "Trump Plan." They believe this is crucial for achieving security and peace while strengthening regional stability foundations. The plan's swift execution is deemed essential without any delays or hindrances.
In this context, they highlight the necessity of maintaining a ceasefire and easing civilian hardships. Ensuring unrestricted humanitarian aid access into Gaza is vital. Early recovery and reconstruction efforts should commence promptly to support these goals.
The ministers call for creating conditions that allow the Palestinian Authority to resume its responsibilities in Gaza. This step is seen as foundational for a new era of security and stability in the region. They are committed to working with the United States and other international parties towards this goal.
They affirm their readiness to ensure full implementation of UNSCR 2803 and related resolutions. Their aim is a just, comprehensive peace based on international legitimacy and a two-state solution. This includes establishing an independent Palestinian State along pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
