Saudi Arabia Condemns US Ambassador's Remarks On Israel And Middle East Stability

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that it strongly condemns and fully rejects comments by the United States Ambassador to Israel. The Ministry says any suggestion that Israel’s control over the entire Middle East is acceptable threatens regional stability. The Kingdom stresses that a just peace requires ending the occupation. It underlines support for a two-state solution and an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as capital.

According to the Ministry, the remarks by the United States Ambassador to Israel are described as reckless and extremist. The Kingdom says these words ignore the rights of states in the region. It says such language increases tensions among countries and peoples across the Middle East.

Saudi Arabia Condemns US Remarks on Israel

The Ministry explains that the statements violate international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and recognised diplomatic norms. The Kingdom notes that the current international order was built after wars that killed millions. It stresses that this order is based on respect for borders and state sovereignty over territory.

The Kingdom warns that such rhetoric carries serious consequences for international peace and security. It argues that these words risk fuelling hostility towards countries in the region. The Ministry adds that they also damage relations between regional states and the United States of America, which it describes as previously distinguished.

The Kingdom urges the U.S. Department of State to clarify its stance on the Ambassador’s comments. The Ministry says the rhetoric is rejected by all nations that seek peace. It reiterates Saudi Arabia’s firm and longstanding refusal of any action that harms sovereignty, borders, or territorial integrity.

Reaffirming its policy, the Kingdom stresses that lasting and comprehensive peace depends on ending the occupation. It says the solution must follow the two-state framework. This includes establishing an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem recognised as its capital.
